IOM announces the forthcoming 3rd Workshop on
Surfaces, Interfaces and Functionalization Processes in Organic Compounds and Applications - SINFO III Naples, 27-29 June 2016
The workshop aims at providing scientists from the CNR and associated Institutions with a forum to share the latest information and ideas on the fundamental properties of organic semiconductor and small molecule overlayers as well as their future applications and implementation into working devices.
It is expected to identify emerging routes for the control and analysis of the electronic, magnetic, and optical properties of organic compounds, hybrid systems and bio-functionalized surfaces. It will join the expertise of chemical and physical investigation of fundamental properties with the new interdisciplinary routes of nanoscale device design, synthesis of novel materials, and engineering of innovative functions to address the challenges for Energy efficiency, Environment control and Health.
The workshop intends improving the communication among CNR research units, academia, and research centers in order to develop a large coordination capability and to single out the future research directions.
The Deadline for Abstract Submission has been extended until the 15th April 2016. Participants are welcomed to submit their abstracts following the instruction on the web site http://organics2016.spin.cnr.it
